30th November 2004
Forest Service, an agency of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, today announced its arrangements for this year’s Christmas tree sales.
Christmas trees are being offered for sale to wholesalers and retailers as well as directly to the public at various forests across N. Ireland.
Forest Service recognises that individual members of the public value the convenience of buying their trees from local outlets such as shops and supermarkets. To cater for this, trees are available to both wholesalers and retailers.
Members of the public who wish to buy their trees directly from a forest have an opportunity to do so, at certain times, from any one of six locations across N. Ireland. Dates and times when trees are available from the forests listed below will be advertised locally and published on the Forest Service website at www.forestserviceni.gov.uk/xmas.
