On Friday 9 September, Forest Service officials discovered lead had been stolen from one of the roofs in Gosford Castle.

This has resulted in major damage being caused to this roof leaving it no longer waterproof. It places at risk some of the remaining ceilings in this listed building.

Forest Service officials are taking the necessary steps to repair the damage and the theft has been reported to PSNI.
