DARD HQ Relocation Project Team

The DARD HQ Relocation Project Team was established by the Permanent Secretary during March 2011 as a Committee of the Departmental Board.

The purpose of the Committee is to progress work on the proposal to relocate the DARD HQ as outlined in the DARD Budget 2011-2015 Spending and Savings Proposals.

The initial objective of the Committee was:

“To produce a scoping paper for the Departmental Board on the work necessary to relocate the DARD HQ to a rural location in line with the Bain Report on Relocating Public Sector Jobs.”
