Slaughter
The export of sheep and goats for slaughter from Northern Ireland to another Member State is covered by Export Health Certificate 91/68 EI Ovine/Caprine.
This certificate can be found on the official TRACES website
There are 2 categories of export:
- Exports to the Republic of Ireland (ROI); and
- Exports to EU Member States (excluding the Republic of Ireland.)
For exports to the ROI only (3 scenarios)
1. Export from Premises of Origin.
2. Export from an EU approved Assembly Centre (where the animals have moved to the Assembly Centre from a premises of origin.
3. Export from an EU approved Assembly Centre (where the animals have moved into the Assembly Centre directly from a Market).
2. Export from an EU approved Assembly Centre (where the animals have moved to the Assembly Centre from a premises of origin.
3. Export from an EU approved Assembly Centre (where the animals have moved into the Assembly Centre directly from a Market).
For exports to all other Member States (excluding the ROI) (2 scenarios)
