Livestock Code of Practice for Imports from GB and EU Member States

The Code Of Practice for the Importation of live cattle, sheep, pigs, poultry and deer into Northern Ireland provides comprehensive guidance for all importers on the conditions which must be adhered to when considering importing animals into Northern Ireland.  It also provides information on the diseases which can be carried by the species covered and as such emphasises the importance of consulting the code so that the health status of Northern Ireland is not compromised.
