Animal Database Fault

Due to an unexpected fault within the animal database system, a large number of back-dated animal and herd restriction letters were issued from local DARD Direct Offices this week. In the event that you receive one of these, and you intend to take an animal to market for internal sale or for export, please contact your local DARD Office immediately to ensure the animal is eligible for sale.

If you have recently got, or get a back-dated restriction note in the next few days & and if you intend to sell or export in the near future, please contact your DVO for clarification of your current status asap.
