Acceptance of herd register software
Information on how to apply to get your software accepted as Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) herd register software.
How to apply
Software companies interested in having their herd register software programs accepted should submit a full working demonstration copy to:

A comma separated variable text file with animal details of the herd to be used for testing will be available on request from Jason McFerran (email:
jason.mcferran@dardni.gov.uk).
Acceptance of a software programme for a herd register by DARD does not in itself guarantee that the information held in the register is contemporaneous. Contemporaneousness can only be validated by carrying out the herd register check.
