Movement onto/off trading premises
Conditions required for approval as an authorised Trading Premises in relation to the movement of animals onto or off the premises.
Movement of animals
- Only animals that have been individually identified are allowed onto the Trading Premises.
- Only animals that are accompanied by appropriate movement documentation are allowed onto the Trading Premises.
- Animals will be received or purchased only from farmers or markets.
- Animals will be sold only to farmers or slaughterhouses in Northern Ireland. Animals will not be returned to a market or Trading Premises. Animals for export must comply with separate export requirements. Dealers wishing to discuss the export requirements should contact their local Divisional Veterinary Office.
- Transport vehicles must be cleaned and disinfected after transporting animals.
- Buildings must be cleansed and disinfected between movements of livestock.
