Enforcement

These Regulations came into force in the UK on 1 October 2006. They implement Council Directive 2001/82/EC as amended by Council Directive 2004/28/EC relating to veterinary medicinal products and identify DARD as the competent authority for enforcement in NI.

Regulation 42 of the Veterinary Medicines Regulations 2008 requires that Improvement Notices and Seizure Notices shall be published.
