Laying Hens Welfare Code of Recommendation

The Northern Ireland Code of Recommendations for Laying Hens provides guidance on important matters such as accommodation, environmental conditions and the provision of food and water. Stock-keepers are required under legislation to have access to the Code and to be familiar with its contents.
