Consultation on the Implementation and Enforcement of the Marketing Standards in Fresh Fruit and Vegetables

This Consultation is to seek your views on the implementation and enforcement of the Marketing Standards in fresh fruit and vegetables contained in Commission Regulation 1580/2007, as amended by Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1221/2008.
The key features of the new Regulation are the introduction of a General Marketing Standard (GMS) and the retention of 10 Specific Marketing Standards (SMS) to be applied at all stages of the distribution chain.
We welcome your views and comments on the proposed implementation and in particular the four questions contained within Annex D.
