Consultation on Proposed Rathlin Island (Restriction of Fishing and Fishing Methods) Regulations 2012
Your comments are invited on a consultation document, regarding the proposed Rathlin Island (Restriction of Fishing and Fishing methods) Regulations 2012.
The purpose of these proposed Regulations is to provide protection for designated features and species within in the Rathlin Island Special Area of Conservation and Special Protection Area from certain sea fishing activities that may have a significant impact on those identified features and species.
We would also welcome your comments on the;
- draft Test of Likely Significance that assesses the environmental impact of fishing activities;
- draft partial Regulatory Impact Assessment that evaluates the costs and benefits of the proposals; and
- draft Equality Impact Assessment Screening Form that assesses the impact on Section 75 Groups.
