Equality impact assessment of the Manure Efficiency Technology Scheme (METS) Tranche 2

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) is holding a consultation on the equality impact assessment of the Manure Efficiency Technology Scheme (METS) Tranche 2.  METS is funded through the Northern Ireland Rural Development Programme (NIRDP) 2007-2013. METS provides financial support to farmers to contribute to the competitiveness of agricultural businesses in Northern Ireland through the purchase of specific slurry distribution systems.  

The consultation period will run from 27 August 2010 until 22 October 2010.
