CAP Reform Post 2013

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development invites comments on its Consultation on EU Commission proposals for Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) Reform post 2013.

Legislative proposals to reform the CAP were published by the EU Commission on 12 October 2011.  The proposed reforms will have significant implications for stakeholders in Northern Ireland, particularly in relation to replacing the Single Farm Payment Scheme and future Rural Development measures.  Seven separate pieces of draft legislation have been put forward.  This consultation seeks views on these legislative proposals.
