The Transposition of Council Directive 2002/99 on Meat Hygiene

Transposition of Council Directive 2002/99/EC (known as Hygiene 4 or H4) laying down the animal health rules governing the production, processing, distribution and introduction of products of animal origin for human consumption.  

The transposition would be carried out in Northern Ireland by the the Meat (Disease Control) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007.

The deadline for responses is 15 October 2007.
