Equality Impact Assessment of Farm Modernisation Programme, Tranche 2
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) has completed an Equality Impact Assessment (EQIA) of the Farm Modernisation Programme (FMP) Tranche 2, which is funded through the Northern Ireland Rural Development Programme (NIRDP) 2007-2013. The FMP provides financial support to farmers to help them to contribute to the competitiveness of agricultural and horticultural businesses in Northern Ireland through the purchase of modernising items of plant, machinery and equipment.
A consultation period on the Equality Impact Assessment opened on 9 July 2010 and closed on 3 September 2010. The Final Report below summarises the consultation responses received, the Department's response to them, and the results of the Equality Impact Assessment.
