Consultation on the Equality Screening of the Farm Modernisation Programme
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) held a consultation on the equality aspects of the Farm Modernisation Programme (FMP). This Programme is funded through the Northern Ireland Rural Development Programme (NIRDP) 2007-2013. The FMP provides financial support to farmers to help them to contribute to the competitiveness of agricultural and horticultural businesses in Northern Ireland through the purchase of modernising items of plant, machinery and equipment.
The consultation period ran from 8 March 2010 and closed on 12 May 2010.
