The Department would like to thank the many contributors who took the time to respond to this consultation and a full list of respondents and a copy of individual responses is below. The Department has considered these comments in revising the Framework and a copy of the Departmental reply to the comments received can be accessed below.
This framework has been developed under the Programme for Government to be delivered over the budget years 2008/09-2010/11.
This framework has been developed in conjunction with a range of rural stakeholder organisations and has identified 5 key areas to target:
- Rural Fuel Poverty;
- Rural Transport and access;
- Rural Childcare;
- Rural Community Development;
- Rural Challenge Programme.
In addition to a public consultation these proposals were also subject to an equality assessment (link ) and the Framework was revised to take on board the comments made to the two consultations.
