DARD Direct Equality Impact Assessment Consultation Responses

The Equality Impact Assessment (EQIA) of the Roll-Out of DARD Direct was made available for public consultation on Wednesday 2 July 2008. The last date for receipt of input to the consultation was Friday 5 September 2008.

30 responses were received from organisations and individuals representing customers, staff and key stakeholders during a 9 week formal consultation period. Analysis of the responses from this consultation phase led to a further review of the location proposal for South and East Antrim and consultation was undertaken with key stakeholders. The publication of the final report was delayed until this review and further consultation was completed, allowing a decision to be taken on the final location.
