The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) is consulting on Permitted Procedures to be carried out by Lay Persons under Section 5 of the Welfare of Animals Act 2011 from 1 July 2011 to 23 September 2011. Please note that responses to the consultation should arrive with DARD on Friday 23 September 2011 at the latest.
