Consultation on The Zoonoses (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2014
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) has launched a consultation on The Zoonoses (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2014 to seek views from stakeholders.
The proposed new Regulations will introduce revised fees for poultry flock holders for statutory testing and sampling under EU 2160/2003:
The existing fees have been reviewed in light of current costs relating to the sampling and testing regimes required under EU 2160/2003 and it is now necessary to introduce a new fees schedule to enable DARD to fully recover costs of services provided. This will ensure compliance with government policy of full cost recovery.
The following consultation package includes the proposed draft Regulations as well as a draft Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) detailing the amended schedule of fees.
Draft - The Zoonoses (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2014 (Microsoft Word, 147 Kb)
