Rural Development Division is responsible for administering the Northern Ireland Rural Development Programme 2007 - 2013.

Funding Programmes under the outgoing Rural Development Programme 2001 - 2006 included: Leader+, the Natural Resource Rural Tourism initiative (NRRTi), the Programme for Building Sustainable Prosperity (PBSP), Interreg IIIA and PEACE II.
