Pig Carcase Classification

The purpose of Pig Carcase Classification is to ensure the uniform classification of pig carcases (other than those of pigs which have been used for breeding) for the purposes of EU Pig Price Reporting. Pig Carcase Grading can also be used as a payment system for producers. Quality Assurance Branch (QAB) monitors classification procedures.
