Agricultural Wages Board (AWB)

The Agricultural Wages Board for Northern Ireland is a statutory body which determines the minimum gross wages payable to agricultural workers, and sets some conditions for holiday and sick pay entitlement.

In March 2007 the Board agreed a Grading System, with new age bands.  Under the System agricultural workers' advancement through the Grades is based on the workers' experience and qualifications.
