2011-2012 AWB Rates in English

The Agricultural Wages Board met on the 25 March 2011 and agreed a minimum rate of wages for agricultural workers for 2011-2012.  The Board increased the minimum rates across all grades by 1.9%.
These new rates will apply from 4 April 2011.  A copy of the rates is set out below:

Where at any time the National Minimum Wage becomes higher than the hourly rate set out above, then the minimum rate shall be equal to the National Minimum Wage.  The National Minimum Wage rate will be reviewed and any changes recommended should take effect by 1 October 2011.  The new rates will be specified in the Board's Order No. 91 which will be available shortly from the The Stationery Office, Belfast (tele: 02890 238 451).
