INTERREG IVA - Cross-Border Rural Development Projects

   EU INTERREG IVA Programme,
   Priority 2: Collaboration, Sub-theme: Rural Development
The Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB) opened a call for cross-border Rural Development applications under the Collaboration theme of the EU INTERREG IVA Programme for Northern Ireland, Ireland and Scotland (2007 – 2013).  The closing date for this call was Friday 30 October 2009.
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (N Ireland) and the Department of Evironment, Community & Local Government (Ireland) are the accountable departments for this strand of the EU INTERREFG IVA programme. SEUPB is managing application and assessment processes and also for overseeing the delivery of approved projects.
All of the funding available from the Rural Development strand has been awarded to six projects that will support the development of rural communities through cross border enterprise, tourism and socially focussed actions.
