Single Farm Payment and Pre 2005 Subsidy Schemes

The aim of EU Area-based Schemes Division is:

"To ensure that farmers in Northern Ireland are aware of and receive the agricultural grants and livestock subsidies to which they are entitled and to undertake inspections to ensure compliance with scheme rules and with production and processing standards."

With effect from 1 May 2008, agriculture subsidy payments will only be paid electronically by the Bankers Automated Clearing System (BACS)
