Single Farm Payment Regulations

European Council Regulation (EC) No. 1782/2003 established the common rules for the direct farm support schemes under the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) Reform Agreement. Article 1 of this Regulation provides for the introduction of a Single Farm Payment (SFP) with effect from 1 January 2005. Commission Regulation (EC) 795/2004 lays down the rules for the implementation of the new scheme and Commission Regulation (EC) 796/2004 provides the rules on Cross Compliance, Modulation and the Integrated Administration and Control System (IACS).
