CAFRE College Advisory Group (CAG)
The CAFRE College Advisory Group is an Expert Committee with responsibility for providing advice at operational level to the CAFRE Director and Management Team on the delivery of CAFRE programmes to the Northern Ireland Agri-food industry.
Terms of Reference for the Committee
- Make recommendations regarding the development of the College Business Plan to meet the needs of industry, participants and the community in line with the DARD Strategy on education and technology transfer.
- Monitor the programmes delivered by the College and make recommendations regarding their relevance to the DARD Strategy and their effectiveness in meeting the needs of industry, participants and the community.
- Monitor the delivery of the College Business Plan, specifically including achievement of physical and financial targets, and value for money and make recommendations on how performance could be improved.
- Advise the College in marketing and promotion of programmes to secure optimum industry and community involvement in the development, delivery and up-take of programmes.
The Group also consults representatives of industry on the range of issues for which it is responsible.
Group details
The Group comprises a chair, and 12 members. Each member has been appointed to represent various sectors relevant to the role and work of CAFRE.
The Chair of the Group is Hilda Stewart.
