The Aujeszky's Disease Order (NI) 2011
Summary:
DARD policy is to support industry in their progression to EU recognition of Aujeszky's Disease freedom Annex 1 status under EU 2008/185 within Northern Ireland. The Aujeszky's Disease Order allows DARD to implement certain measures in the event of either a breakdown or outbreak of Aujeszky's in breeding or fattening pigs. These measures will allow the country to recover it's Aujeszky's Disease free status.
