The Fodder Plant Seeds Regulations (NI) 2011

Summary:

The Conservation Variety Directive amends the Seeds Directives by providing for acceptance of agricultural landraces and varieties, which are naturally adapted to the local and regional conditions and threatened by genetic erosion and for marketing of seed of those landraces and varieties. The proposed Seeds Regulations implement these changes in local legislation as well as consolidating all of the seeds marketing regulations and the registration and licensing regulations.
