All-Island Animal Health and Welfare Strategy
Summary:
The All-Island Animal Health and Welfare Strategy was formally agreed at the Agriculture North South Ministerial Council Sectoral meeting in Hillsborough on 31 March 2010. This will enhance North-South co-operation on animal health and welfare issues and has the potential to help reduce and prevent the spread of animal disease. It will also facilitate trade and improve the sustainability of farming.
