Herdkeepers guidelines on the valuation of animals to be slaughtered due to Tuberculosis or Brucellosis
Summary:
The Brucellosis Control Order (Northern Ireland) 2004 (as amended) and the Tuberculosis Control Order (Northern Ireland) 1999 (as amended) give the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) the power to slaughter animals infected, or suspected of being infected, with Tuberculosis or Brucellosis and pay compensation.
