Summary:
This leaflet provides guidance on the selection of a milk bulk tank. The following issues are considered:- type of tank, running costs of different types of tank, electricity supply needed, size of tank needed. The following questions are answered:- is the size of the existing dairy large enough to accommodate the tank and will tanker access to the new dairy setup be adequate.
