Ruddock Review
Summary:
Michelle Gildernew, Minister for Agriculture and Rural Development, appointed Joan Ruddock, a non-executive member of the DARD Board, to carry out a review of DARD’s handling of the alpha-nortestosterone issue in response to findings of the hormone in cattle presented at meat plants after on-farm emergency slaughter. Conclusions and recommendations are detailed in the attached review.
