Data Protection Policy

Summary:

Our Data Protection Policy demonstrates the Department’s commitment to compliance with the Data Protection Act as amended by the Freedom of Information Act 2000. The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) holds and processes a large quantity of personal data. The Data Protection Act 1998 regulates how personal information relating to an identifiable, living individual must be treated.
