UK Public Opinion of Forestry 2003 (Forest Service)

Summary:

The Forestry Commission has conducted similar biennial surveys of public attitudes to forestry and forestry-related issues since 1995. In the initial surveys a representative sample of 2,000 adults across Great Britain was surveyed. In 2003 the scope of the survey has been substantially increased with the use of three separate surveys. This report summarises the results of the main UK survey, and highlights any changes over time by comparing the 2003 results with previous surveys. Separate reports will give more detailed results for England, Scotland and Wales.
