The attached document is the Department’s submission to the EU Commission on CAP Post 2013. This response to the Commission Communication, published on 18 November 2010 and entitled ‘The CAP towards 2020: Meeting the food, natural resources and territorial challenges of the future’, was presented to Mr Georg Haeusler, Head of Cabinet, DG-AGRI in Brussels on 24 March 2011. The views presented have been informed by stakeholder responses to a public consultation on the Commission’s CAP Communication which closed at the end of January 2011.
