DARD’s Business Plan 08/09 builds upon the Vision and Aim and retains as the key drivers, 5 Strategic Goals:-
• To improve performance in the market place
• To strengthen the social and economic infrastructure of rural areas
• To enhance animal, fish and plant health and welfare
• To develop a more sustainable environment
• To effectively deliver our services to customers
Key targets have been included for each Goal, which will be closely monitored in terms of achievement over the year.
