Attached is the DARD Business Plan for the 2011/12 financial year. The Plan is also published in hard copy (with both English and Irish combined), and available in Ulster-Scots. In addition, the Plan is available in Braille, computer Disk, audio and pdf formats. DARD’s 11/12 Business Plan builds upon the Department’s Vision and Aim and retains, as the key drivers, 5 Strategic Goals: • To improve performance in the market place • To improve the lives of rural dwellers • To enhance animal, fish and plant health and welfare • To develop a more sustainable environment • To deliver effectively our services to customers. Key targets have been included for each Goal and these are closely monitored in terms of achievement over the year.
