Government's Statement on Modernisation of DARD
Summary:
A Review was commissioned by the then agriculture Minister, Mrs Bríd Rodgers, in September 2001, to examine DARD's existing arrangements for the provision of undergraduate and postgraduate education and research and development (R‡) in Northen Ireland. The Review Panel was chaired by Dr Daniel O'Hare, and it reported in April 2002. In it's statement on modernisation within the department in November 2002, DARD responded to the recommendations made in the Review Panel's report.
