Study of Rural Policy
Summary:
The Study, comissioned from consultants PricewaterhouseCoopers, was carried out to inform a review of Rural Development Policy currently being undertaken by DARD. The aim of the policy review is to look at the economic, environmental and social needs of rural communities, to establish the rationale for Government intervention, to assess the effectiveness of current policy and delivery mechanisms and to make proposals for change.
