Community Local Regeneration Projects and Programmes

Community local regeneration projects are part of the ‘not for profit sector’.  These are rural voluntary/community groups who plough back any profit they make into the organisation for the benefit of it and the community as a whole. The 'not for profit sector is delivered by the Rural Development Council (RDC).
Rural community groups were able to apply for funding to the RDC through a competitive process under the categories of services, environment and the local economy.
