Rural White Paper

The Rural White Paper Action Plan is an Executive initiative aimed at addressing key issues and challenges facing rural communities. The development of the Action Plan is being led by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Public consultation on the draft Action Plan commenced on 13 March 2011 and finished on 13 June 2011. Further information and a list of responses can be found on Public Consultation on Rural White Paper.

It is anticipated that the final Rural White Paper Action Plan will be published in early 2012.
