Export requirements for sheep or goats
Details of the requirements to export sheep or goats from Northern Ireland.
- Must be accompanied by a valid health certificate.
- All exporters must pre book with the relevant Portal Inspection Office at least 24 hours before expected departure.
- All consignments must be presented at the Portal Office for inspection.
- Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) Boarding Passes are required by all shipping companies and will be issued on completion of a satisfactory inspection.
