Personal imports into Northern Ireland
Information related to the importation of animal and plant products, for personal consumption, into Northern Ireland.

Due to a wide range of diseases being present in both EU and Non EU Countries (including Bluetongue, Foot and Mouth Disease and Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza), DARD would advise that travellers comming to Northern Ireland should not bring animal or plant products into Northern Ireland unless absolutely necessary. Any items which are imported by travellers must comply with import conditions. Items which do not comply are liable to be seized.
