Export requirements for cattle

Details of the requirements to export cattle from Northern Ireland.

Must be accompanied by a valid health certificate.
All exporters must pre-book with the relevant Portal Inspection Office at least 24 hours before expected departure.
All consignments must be presented at the Portal Office for inspection.
Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) Boarding Passes are required by all shipping companies and will be issued on completion of a satisfactory inspection.
