Plant health for Northern Ireland

The Department implements Plant Health legislation in Northern Ireland.  This includes approval of businesses for passporting, surveys for non-indigenous pests and diseases.  Also the import inspections, inspections of arable crops, nurseries, garden centres and other horticulture businesses for quarantine pests and diseases and control and elimination of serious pests and diseases.
