Pre 2005 Subsidy Schemes
Livestock Schemes
A new Single Farm Payment Scheme (SFPS) was introduced from 1 January 2005. This is part of the package reforming the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). This scheme will replace the following existing production based support schemes:
- Beef Special Premium
- IACS / Arable Area Payments
- Suckler Cow Premium / Suckler Cow Quotas
- Slaughter Premium (including the Veal Calf Slaugher Premium)
- Sheep Annual Premium / Sheep Quotas
- Extensification Premium
