Claiming payments for agri-environment schemes
Claiming your agri-environment scheme depends on the date you signed your scheme agreement.
If you signed your agreement for the Countryside Management Scheme, Environmentally Sensitive Areas Scheme or Organic Farming Scheme before 2008 you should make your claim for payment in the usual way on your annual claim form. This form will be sent to you as normal around the anniversary date of your agreement.
However, if you joined the NI Countryside Management Scheme (NICMS) or new Organic Farming Scheme (OFS) in 2009, you should claim your payment using the Single Application Form. This is the same form on which a claim for Single Farm Payment (SFP) is made. The closing date for receipt of the 2010 SFP applications is 17 May 2010. This is also the closing date for the NICMS and the new Organic Farming Scheme claim period.
Countryside Management Delivery Advisers are available in DARD Regional Offices to advise on completion of claim forms.
